How GOLDEN PETALS Started
Golden Petals was created for those who love natural and chemical free products. Shea butter has always been an household product for me. When I began my natural hair journey I used shea butter to condition my hair. I loved how soft it made it, also my skin.
I personally suffer from eczema and HS (Hidradenitis suppurativa). Eczema is atopic dermatitis an itchy inflammation of the skin. HS is a chronic skin condition featuring lumps in places such as the armpits or groin. The skin lesions develop as a result of inflammation and infection of sweat glands. The topical prescriptions I was prescribed wasn't working, they were making my HS even worse, especially being that there isn't too much research on HS. Me believing in natural healing is what lead me to mixing shea butter with other oils. Using shea butter along with a mixture of oils such as olive oil and tea tree oil which both anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, tea tree being antifungal. This mixture began healing me so fast it was unbelievable. I began doing research on more oils and their benefits to add to Golden Petals Hair and Skin products. Which personally helped me.
Golden Petals, is now must haves for my family and friends and is now available for you and yours.
